Hello, this is Steve (lolumadd). This is my development blog for the upcoming COD:DC v3. First, I would like to tell you the history of my developing.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Long ago, when first learning to script Pawno, I really wasn't a good coder. I started making a gamemode based off of my favorite game at the momment, Call of Duty 5. I never thought of my first project, to be one of the biggest of SA:MP history.

Chapter 2: Some Problems

As I said, my scripting knowledge was very low. The parts I did script, were very inefficient, very unorganized, and didn't work so good. I am glad I had a lot of friends that knew how to script very well. After I finally realized I was a noob, I gave up on the whole project, never thinking I can finish it, because of my skills

Chapter 3: I regain

After some months (possibly a year), I gained very much experience. I thought about the old COD5 script I have kept in My Documents folder. I checked it out, thought I could fix it up. I still liked to play Call of Duty.

Chapter 4: Progress

Scripting was going pretty good, with the helps of my friends. The script was nearly completed in a couple of months. Once completed, I put the script to the side, since I didn't think it was good; popular.

Chapter 5: Money Arrives

After selling my runescape account for twenty bucks, I thought about getting a SA:MP server. I still had my COD5 script and I thought about giving it a try. I bought a thirty slot server with hosted tab.

Chapter 6: Success

In a couple of days, I had many registered accounts and a huge player base. I started to get full players, I had to upgrade. I upgraded to forty slots. Then it got full again. I then upgraded to fifty slots. Still full. I started to get a huge forum account numbers. I started getting donations. With the money I gotten from donations, I upgraded to one-hundred player slots. Now, this didn't get full right away such as the other times. In about a couple of days, the players increased, soon to fill up to one-hundred. Sometimes I couldn't even join. I gotten huge amounts of donations and registered users. This is when I knew this server would become successful. I have gotten a good amount of trust worthy admins. The script wasn't very completed at the time, my skills still weren't as great as today, although very fun and enjoyable to play.

Chapter 6: A new scripter

In the times of v1+ a scripter came into my server, cmg4life. He seemed as a trustworthy person, I talked to him on the microphone too. He wanted to help me script the server. Of course I said yes, stupid of me. Overall, he made huge improvements and disfigurements. Everything was fine until this one day. I decided to be silly, like I always do to my admin team, and kill him several times with an admin command. He suddenly got very angry, left the server, and decided to steal my code and make his own server. Lucky for me, his computer got a virus not long later, and was forced to clean his computer, removing the script. I never talked to him in a long time. After he was gone, I continued to script by my self, doing things how I like them.

Chapter 7: I resign

I suddenly became bored of this code, and the community. Beginning on January 23rd, 2010, I would be giving all rights to the community and script, to one of my lead admins and top donater, ExoSanty.

Chapter 8: ExoSanty takes control

ExoSanty was a good person. He actually tried to help and make the community better, which he did. I started to get jealous of the work they have done. The shocking thing is, cmg4life came to ExoSanty asking to script for him aswell! ExoSanty accepted and cmg4life soon takes control, asking for level 4 admin and rights to the server, once again. Cmg4life still hates me for that small thing I had done. He seriously would kill me if he saw me in real life. Soon I would screw everything up.

Chapter 9: My screwup

One day, when my jealously and stupidity collided, I did something that would ruin all of my respect with the community I created. I entered the new server, where I was level 5 admin. I decided to use a command which extorts all of the current players from the server. I would continue to spam that or 2 minutes, not letting anyone in. I then leave the server.

Chapter 10: My Final Visit

The day where I apologize on their forum shoutbox, I was cursed at, screamed at and I have zero respect from almost everybody except my good friends. ExoSanty, who still likes me, let me stay, and he unbanned me. Cmg4life, for whome, hated me at first, now hates me ten-fold. He still gets in fights with me, attempted to ban me ingame. I decided not to leave, and never come back for no one in their has any respect, and if I was their under my real name, I would be banned.

Chapter 11: Current Day

Right now, I have released the v2.8 of the script. The server owned by ExoSanty still stands, they are now on v3.7, but still are very similar. I decided to finish the v3 version me and Sergiz started. Much better, organized, and MySQL integrated. Suspected to be the next top deathmatch script. I expect it to be as big as my original script; bigger.

Current Status of v3: 10%
